And just like that, it's Monday again. I hope y'all had a wonderful weekend! Mine was one of those rare weekends where I struck the balance between fun, relaxation and productivity. It was a great one all around--I am sad to see it come to an end.
It seemed only fitting to start the first Monday of a new month with one of my favorite quotes from one of my all-time favorite movies. I grew up watching Anne of Green Gables and Anne of Avonlea at my grandparents house (on VHS, no less!). It is one of those movies I can watch start to finish, even to this day, and still love every minute. I feel like my sister is the only one who will truly understand the obsession ;)
Even though it might be an old movie based on an even older book, this quote stands the test of time. It's a great reminder to treat each month, each week and each day as a fresh start. The chance for a clean slate is always there, simply with the dawning of a new day. Pretty refreshing if you think about it.
What movies remind you of your childhood? Do you have any big plans for Cinco de Mayo? I'd love to hear--please share in the comments below!
