I'm not sure who said these words first, but there's no doubt they were wise. The concept of "just starting" is something I struggled with when I first decided to start a blog. The Type-A planner and perfectionist parts of me wanted to know everything, needed a plan and sought ideal conditions. After months (and months!) of research and planning, I finally realized that this blog was always going to be a work in progress. It will never be "perfect"--and I don't want it to be! My goal is for Day Jobs & Dreams to always be a place for learning, growth and change.
It took me quite some time to realize this, but I am so glad I did. This week I'm encouraging you to just start. Take the risk, learn as you go and give yourself a chance. If not now, when? Trust me--you won't regret it.
Have a great Monday, friends!
Do you have "perfectionist" tendencies? What is something you've been putting off because you don't feel ready? I'd love to hear!
