Raise your hand if you knew that March is officially National Nutrition Month®? I didn't. Not until our most recent Corporate Wellness Newsletter popped up in my work inbox.
Nutrition, fitness and healthy living are all things I am very passionate about, value and strive toward constantly. I am a firm believer in both the mental and physical rewards exercise gives us.
Recently though, I have been working to make sure I am fueling my body in the best way possible for my activity level. I could literally write a novel on this, but to keep it short & sweet--it's easy to get caught up in calorie-counting and a number on the scale and lose sight of the fact that our bodies are the. only. place we have to live. Everybody's been here, right? Lezz be honest. We should be loving our bodies, nourishing them and taking care of them! Regardless if your goal is to maintain, gain or lose.
My goal for March, in honor of National Nutrition Month®, is to focus on treating my body well. Whether that be through exercising, eating healthy, fueling my body or simply giving myself some love, I am going to bring it to the forefront.
I am planning to share a weekly post with workouts I've loved, recipes I've tried or positive messages that have inspired me.
