I'm excited to kick of a new series and introduce a new (to me) designer with you today! The Maker of the Moment series will highlight a maker---artist, designer, graphic designer, creative, etc.---whose work I am currently obsessing over. There is so much talent and creativity out there and I am really looking forward to putting these posts together and sharing them with you! Kicking off the series today is Sarah Riddle of Riddle Design Co. With past experience in advertising, art and design, she recently made the switch to full-time freelancing. In addition to her freelance client work, she also started a southern themed paper goods line that is absolutely beautiful! Her Etsy shop features hand lettered and illustrated calendars and state themed prints, with more whimsical stationary and paper good in the works.
I immediately fell in love with Sarah's work--her handlettering is stunning and the details in her illustrations blew me away. Here are a few of the lovely prints you can find in her Etsy shop:
So pretty, right? I think these prints would make great presents as well. Speaking of gifts, Sarah was kind enough to send a couple prints my way to give away to you---just in time for the new year, no less!
I'd love it if you'd help spread the word about Sarah's designs and talent by entering to win one of two 2015 Live Oak Calendars (pictured above) in either copper or gold. Enter below using the Rafflecopter widget before 12am on Tuesday, January 15, 2015. Two winners will be randomly chosen and emailed Thursday, January 15th. Good Luck!
